Job Summary

The Position: Head of People Business Consulting (m/f/d)

In order to strengthen our rapidly growing global team, we are looking for an insight driven, business-savvy People Leader who strategically maintains the business perspective, while placing emphasis on people management procedures and operations as well as employee relations.
In your consultative nature you design and guide the business’s design and sustainable change management projects with a view of creating speed and efficiency across the business, which support rapidly shifting business demands.
Additionally, you know how to apply People Analytics in order to focus the business’s leaders on relevant people management issues while assessing potential strategies and solutions.
“Modern HR” means that you know how to convert “transactional” HR BP skills & experience into becoming change enablers and help driving the people-side of business outcomes.
If you have previous experience in a senior People Consulting position and know how to design and steer cross-functional projects that allows to hit our HCM goals fast and at scale, we’d like to meet you. As direct report to the CHRO, the position holder plays a vital, hands-on role in developing and shaping the HRS Organization as well as running People operations.

Your challenge

  • Playing a leading a strategic role to ensure that all strategies implemented are aligned with the overall business priorities and goals
  • Leading the business’s organizational design and change management projects with a view of creating speed and efficiency across the business
  • Making smart use of People Analytics to identify talent gaps, assess organizational performance and propose solutions that are in support of the business and that are in promotion of ongoing talent, development plans, and succession
  • Running a lean Consulting & Operations function with a cross-location team of 8 people by designing, building and implementing more productive ways of working and demonstrating return on investment
  • Expanding automation to make better decisions faster
  • Steering all People related processes such as forecasting, salary payments and administration
  • Driving the team to meet and exceed benchmarks relating to revenue per capita, quality of hire, retention, employee engagement and HRS recommendation quota
  • Taking initiative in enforcing the importance of complying with People policies, procedures and processes
  • Partnering with leaders within the organization to understand, support and consult on ongoing needs of their business
  • Understanding industry and business factors that shape how People strategies are developed, implemented and sustained in order to add value to the business’s bottom line

For this exciting mission you are equipped with…

  • A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of business administration and/or  Human Resources Management
  • Proven work experience in a Senior HR Business Partner management role, ideally in a fast pacing environment of fast growing companies or consulting
  • Several years of professional experience in the consolidation of international businesses
  • Proven track record in business process optimization with significant exposure in review processes that lead to the identification of redundancies or inefficiencies
  • Successful ability to build, lead, and integrate effective and lasting people management programs within a business
  • Strong in using HR technology for further automating the human resources function wrt payroll and compensation, talent acquisition and management, workforce analytics, performance management, and benefits administration
  • Strength in building awareness on key organizational issues and presenting a relevant solution, guide departmental heads, management, and stakeholders through a collaborative and shared decision making process
  • Being passionate about conducting deriving insights form data and information, identifying lasting potential solutions for HR procedures and policies
  • Strong organizational and motivational Leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication and conflict management skills to influence and inspire business partners and support cross-functional teams in delivering results with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)
  • Fluency in German and English (with >C2 skill level), spoken and written
