We are the People Solutions Team, a diverse and international team of people heroes driving all employee lifecycle topics for the HRS Group. We love to make it happen for our tribe of intrapreneurs and always think from the customer when developing new HR products. 


We are looking for a minimum C1 level german speaking Payroll Manager (all genders) to lead our HR payroll life cycle services, serving all HRS employees within Germany and international. 


  • Take responsibility for the steering and performance monitoring of our external payroll provider
  • Ensure maintenance and transmission of the master file data for the outsourcing provider and secure the interface between the internal and external payroll systems
  • Validate accuracy and completeness of employee data with regards to work time, absence, sick leave and other payroll related features 
  • Support and counsel in the adaption of payroll related policy changes and or implementations 
  • Ensure coordination with the rest of the local HR Operations team to identify any dependencies with other HR processes such as workforce administration, benefits and time management and identify opportunities for collaboration 
  • Provide a high quality, professional payroll & benefits service to the HRS entities 
  • As an expert for payroll, provide expertise to HR and the business and assure excellent knowledge of payroll legislation and laws Lead payroll projects to proactively look at ways to drive change within the payroll process through simplification, standardization and automation

  • Track record of delivering high quality Group Payroll services
  • Experience of working with an outsourced payroll provider is highly desirable
  • Experience in developing and introducing standard workflows and optimization of processes 
  • Working independently and taking on responsibility 
  • Knowledge of HCM solutions (such as SAP Success Factors) as well as experienced knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel 
  • Fluency in German and in English (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with good attention to detail & precision oriented


The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus. Onsite (Munich, Berlin or Cologne) or remote (Germany).
