We are looking for a Project Owner/Manager Payment (m/f/d) for our Payment Solutions product line based in Berlin or Cologne. 


Your Challenges:

  • Develop, own, and execute strategies and delivery roadmaps for our Payment Products
  • Ensure – in alignment with Senior Product Leadership – that your products and projects support our company mission and goals
  • Manage small/medium projects independently, from conception, through delivery and maintenance
  • At all times, provide transparency and overview to your reporting line on progress of your projects
  • Manage & align with internal stakeholders, and facilitate or take ownership of communication with external stakeholders, as needed to successfully deliver your projects
  • Break down Epics into development items and manage your (team’s) backlog
  • Launching your features by ensuring an adequate handover to sales and production 
  • A sound understanding of the interaction between business needs and technical concepts; ability to discuss implementation strategy with developers

Your Commitment

  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience, ideally more, as Product Manager, Project Manager, and/or Product Owner
  • Experience and knowledge about credit card business is a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of agile working methods in software development, along with experience running an agile board using Jira
  • Diligent documentation of meeting notes, including decision & action items.
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English including the ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and business concepts to developers
  • German language is a strong plus
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with team, leadership, senior management, and internal/external stakeholders
  • Fintech and/or Data reporting experience is strong plus
