We are looking for an Account Executive (m/f/d) to partner with corporate customers and deliver best in class solutions for their business travelers. This role is based in Cairns and requires the availability of a ‘work from home’ office space . The HRS Group is the contracted Accommodation Program Manager (hotels and motels) for all travel required by Queensland (QLD) Government employees. 
HRS is seeking to expand its customer and partner support footprint in Northern QLD by appointing a Cairns-based Account Manager to assist in managing the business relationships between HRS, QLD Government customers and accommodation partners. The successful applicant for this role will be required to add strategic value to the QTravel Program. The Account Manager shall be fully conversant with the QLD Government’s travel policy and Travel Category Plan and will effectively communicate and manage these requirements across HRS to deliver services and meet contractual obligations. 

Your challenges 
•    contributing to delivery of the Strategic Account Plan
•    liaising with the Customers’ agency administrators on a regular basis
•    collaboratively working with the QLD Government’s Online Booking Tool Supplier and Travel Management Supplier
•    liaising and meeting with accommodation partners in North and Far North QLD in collaboration with HRS’s Hotel Partnerships business unit 
•    attending customer meetings and formal reviews
•    promoting adoption of the QTravel Program in accordance with the QLD Government’s expectations
•    reviewing performance against SLAs and KPIs and making recommendations on improvements
•    assisting in resolving Customer issues in a timely manner
•    proactively reaching out to customers to discuss and implement solutions based on customer data analysis 
•    monitoring adherence to contract terms by all parties
•    providing support to the Key Account Manager to progress strategic priorities and initiatives as required
•    Grow the annual revenue from within a defined existing B2B customer base through the optimization of our HRS business travel solutions
•    Target, approach and acquire new high value customers through a detailed understanding of their strategic business travel requirements
•    Engage with senior management across multiple disciplines within your customer base to ensure maximum understanding and opportunity for success
•    Manage projects of all new customer implementations and oversee the operational running of all accounts on a day to day basis
•    Work closely with international colleagues to ensure international roll outs of customers
Your commitment
•    A background in, or strong knowledge of, the accommodation sector and/or state government industry is highly desirable 
•    Requires valid open driver’s licence and own vehicle  
•    Several years consulting or sales experience, preferably building customer relationships and technical knowledge within the B2B travel industry
•    Experience with managing multi-layered cross functional projects as well as building and retaining lasting customer and internal relationships
•    Very strong analytics being accustomed to complex customer data and using CRM systems
•    A structured, independent and goal oriented working style
•    Focus on fast and flawless execution
•    High self-motivation and an ability to work under time pressure while simultanously managing customer expectations and internal requirements
•    Fluency in English, both spoken and written
