Data & Analytics Platform

The HRS Data & Analytics Platform is one of the key enablers of HRS GROUP’s tech- and data driven business travel solutions. State of the art services and solutions like strategic consulting & hotel procurement, travel payment and expense solutions or efficient tools to manage corporate meetings and group booking facilitate the travel processes and guarantee savings along the value chain.

Around 50 Data Specialists (Analysts, Scientists and Engineers) work together in our Data Community to create analytics solutions that serve our corporate customers, hotel partners, internal stakeholders, and millions of business travelers worldwide.

HRS Data & Analytics leverage a rich data landscape (spend data, booking data, rate data, web analytics data, etc.) turning raw data into actionable insights to provide (semi-) automated decision support to customers and business stakeholders with advanced analytical solutions. We bring state-of-the-art algorithms in production, to enhance Search & Booking experience (with personalized recommendations) or optimize the corporate hotel portfolio to the objectives of customers and the needs of the travelers.

POSITION

We are currently looking for a Data Analyst (m/f/d) to be based in our offices in Chandigarh/Mohali, to join our Data and Analytics department. At HRS Group, we take a customer first approach in all we do, and, in this role, you will be tasked with taking a customer first approach over time by diving deep into how we measure our progress and helping to identify and prioritize key areas of focus based on data & analytics.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and be able to create and maintain efficient & automated processes. They know and love working with business

intelligence tools, can model multidimensional datasets, and can partner effectively with business leaders to answer key business questions. They are analytical and creative, and do not quit. CHALLENGE

.  Acting as the bridge between business teams and technical teams to gather tooling and data requirements.

· Develop datasets using BI tools (MicroStrategy) and/or direct SQL queries and/or Python/PySpark/SparkSQL applications against disparate data sources across HRS Data Platform.

· Apply analytic and statistical methodologies to produce answers, ideas, and insights that are easily communicated to the business for feedback and ongoing iterative refinement.

· Performing data analysis and developing insightful dashboards, memos & presentations that summarize the data.

· Collaborating with the Data Science & Engineering team to improve our data ecosystem over time, including the data itself and the tools that will help us to scale analytics

· Creating and maintaining data documentation both for an internal, technical audience and for partner user teams

· Developing efficient ways for non-technical stakeholders to access and work with large data sets

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

2 - 5 years of experience in a highly analytical environment (e.g., management consulting, corporate analytics, strategy and operations, or other roles requiring a blend of analytical, strategic, and cross-functional work)

· Hands-on experience with SQL (CTEs, Window functions) and cloud-based data analytics systems (AWS (Amazon Web Services) Data Analytics Stack, Python, PySpark/SparkSQL, Exasol Data Warehouse)

· An ability to coordinate cross-functional projects and/or prior project management experience.

· Strong analytical skills and an ability to synthesize information across a broad ecosystem to diagnose problems and devise solutions

· Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process, while keeping leadership informed on progress against deadlines

· Strong communicator; able to collaborate and maintain relationships with partners on both business teams and the Data Science & Engineering team

· Bachelor’s Degree. Preferably in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative field.

· Contribute actively to build up the knowledge base both within the Data & Analytics organization.

· Fluent in English is a must.

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
