Analyst Sales Steering (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Cologne based Analyst Sales Steering (m/f/d) to conduct performance management analyses to improve our sales organization, generate insights from sales data and support strategic projects (e.g., new product launches, market entries and strategic planning) and automates our reporting landscape.
Your challenges
- Conduct regular performance management analyses for our global sales teams and derive insights for sales leadership as well as our global Sales Strategy & Steering teamStandardize and automate the HRS reporting landscape based on stakeholder needs through close collaboration with our business intelligence department
- Be part of strategic projects, e.g., development of new business models and market entry strategies and prepare top management presentations
- Foster transparent benchmarking and best practice sharing to identify improvement opportunities and build up competitive intelligence on relevant players and trends
- Support local sales teams to deliver highest sales results by identifying insights from data on improvement areas and by facilitating “problem-busting” in close collaboration with other internal departments
- Be an integral part of the global Sales Strategy & Steering team to jointly drive standardized performance management and global best practices on a global level
Your commitment
- An outstanding academic degree in Business studies or similar
- Ideally 2 years of work experience in either a consultancy or sales or performance management-related role
- Excellent analytical skills to synthesize business implications out of complex data
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. VBA, Power Pivot, Power Querry) required. Basic knowledge on MySQL preferred
- High goal orientation, passion for problem-solving and high emotional empathy to work with interdisciplinary teams and cultures across the globe
- Fluency in English and preferably another language
