BUSINESS UNIT

In HRS Crew & Passenger Solutions we guide global transportation companies (airline, railway and logistics) to embrace the digital transformation journey in lodging, driving savings and process automation with a full customer-centric approach. Our solution is targeting crew members servicing a plane, train or ship, and accommodates stranded passengers when there is a flight or a train disruption. As one modular platform, our solution covers all lodging and logistic needs across the customer end-to-end journey: from procurement, lodging planning and operations, to hotel-stay experience, communication management, payment and billing; delivering benefits not only to the end-user, but also yields significant cost-, process- and time-savings for operational departments. 

POSITION

In this Business Development Manager Crew & Passenger (m/f/d) position, you will be responsible to develop new pipeline and expand the Crew & Passenger business, identifying new targeted opportunities, work and develop strategies with partners, consulting new potential customers about products and solutions as well as driving strategic sales initiatives in line with the go-to-market plan. This includes the sales delivery of those initiatives by coordinating our relevant internal teams: business partners, product and implementation. The position is also an important interface to the market, providing market insights on the industry.

The position is reporting directly to the CEO of Crew & Passenger Solutions.
 

CHALLENGE

  • Target, approach and acquire new high-value customers using a deep understanding of their strategic crew & passenger requirements and objectives. 
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Crew & Passenger Solutions and offer a consultative sales approach to potential customers to support their internal strategies
  • Ensure all new sales activity is delivered at best practice by actively engaging and cross-collaborating with departments and team members
  • Be a ‘go-to’ person for the latest market competitor activity and customer intelligence
  • Actively manage the company CRM to ensure all customer activity and data is correctly recorded and up to date for reporting and analytics purposes
  • You are acting as the one responsible face to the customer and its subsidiaries, nonetheless being supported by operational teams and solution experts
  • You will gain deep knowledge of the entire value proposition of HRS Crew & Passenger and can act as your own entrepreneur within the HRS organization

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of business administration
  • Several years of consultative sales or business development experience from SaaS industry, Professional Services or from Start-up environment having served (industry knowledge is not a must preferable!)
  • You enjoy high performance and fast changing environments.
  • You possess a high degree of self-motivation, pro-activeness, forward thinking and assertiveness in order to manage customer expectations as well as driving internal collaboration
  • Experience in building a long-lasting senior stakeholder network within the customer’s organization on a global scale
  • Fluency in German and English, spoken and written
  • Ability to analyze data and derive pro-actively strategic initiatives out of them aimed at achieving customer success
  • Strong sales consultative skills and proven track record
  • Strong business acumen and good negotiation skills
  • A visionary understanding for what the customer wants before he/she knows; you have a “nose” for trends and always keep an eye on the market and customer strategy
  • The innate drive to do things better - both on a macro and a micro level - strong problem-solving skills, creativity to develop new possibilities and processes
  • Empathy, authenticity, integrity, commitment, resilience, respect and tact in dealing with employees, business partners and other stakeholders

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
