Your mission as a Business Excellence Consultant within the Delivery and Operations Unit is to create strategic concepts and consulting approaches for our corporate customers along the customer journey from procuring corporate travel programs to smart corporate booking solutions. You will always put the customer first and constantly challenge the status quo to ensure the HRS STAY value propositions remains state-of-art and provides a competitive advantage.  

Within the position of the Business Excellence Consultant, you will support in creating corporate customer consulting concepts and take responsibility to independently drive and develop sub-streams and smaller concepts. The position is at the interface of understanding HRS value proposition defined by management and breaking it down into standardized concepts that can be executed by the HRS Sales/Consulting organization. The position will report into the Head of Business Excellence. 



  • Define the corporate customer journey from “procure to book”  
  • Develop customer deliverable blueprints based on data insights for the global customer consulting organization  
  • Define new business concepts and business logics along the “procure to book” customer journey  
  • Assist in preparing C-level presentations and decision papers 
  • Exchange and collaborate with leadership of customer consulting organization of global strategic accounts as well as local markets 
  • Create customer reporting concepts of customer value delivered by HRS in close collaboration with the HRS Data Intelligence team  
  • Prepare/Hold trainings and define further mechanisms to ensure execution of concepts created for the global customer consulting organization 



  • An outstanding academic degree in Business Studies or similar 
  • 1 year working experience or 1-2 internships in a consultancy, in a corporate development related role, or in a tech company 
  • Passion about innovating & simplifying the lodging experience for corporate customers and constant urge to challenge the status quo  
  • Engineer backwards by always deriving key insights from customer perspective 
  • Strong analytical thinking to connect the dots end-to-end  
  • Conceptual and structured way of working 
  • Readiness to take ownership and drive topics 
  • Eagerness to solve complex tasks in interdisciplinary teams 
  • Willingness to work in a pragmatic and result-oriented environment 
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written (German is not mandatory but helpful)

In general, the position is assigned to the company headquarters in Cologne and can be agreed as any location, preferably in Germany.

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
