Consortia Program Unit
The Consortia Unit is HRS' Supplier Solutions Sales hunting team. Our mission is to create the ultimate hotel program that combines the volume of multiple corporate customers in specific, high valued, relevant hotel partners that are eager to serve corporate travelers with the highest level of service. We consult and help this Curated group of partners to win new business in a long term partnership with HRS.


The Consortia Unit Business Analyst (m/f/d) has the mission of understanding and working with complex data sets to derive valuable insight to the Supplier Solutions Go-to-Market organization (Business Development Managers and Hotel Account Executives) for the negotiation, renegotiation and management of the HRS Consortia program with a focus on increasing value to customers while driving business to hotels.

It is the Business Analyst's (m/f/d)responsibility to simplify the data set and manage dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable insights to the Sales teams. This professional is also responsible for monitoring and control of the Consortia Unit program under defined KPIs and to contribute to enhancing how we measure program value delivered to our customers. Finally, the Business Analyst will directly work with the Director of the Consortia Unit and have close collaboration with the Sales teams, Procurement teams, and CRM team.

POSITION

In this responsible and impactful Data Analyst (m/f/d) position, the future position holder takes on the helps optimizing customer hotel programs and elevating hotel partners' business by designing and developing reports and decision support solutions. It includes notions of self-responsible ownership and project management of respective tasks and initiatives.

The position is embedded in the wider Data & Analytics Platform team, dedicatedly collaborating with the Consortia Program team of HRS Group. In this collaborative effort, the position holder leverages Data Products & -Services available within HRS Group, to generate insights developing the next-gen Consortia Program for our customers, and driving value for hotel partners.

CHALLENGE

  • Analyze HRS Group data sets to curate the optimal Consortia Program for our clients and elevate hotel partnership value
  • Develop decision support tooling such as dashboards and reports to track program success and -effectiveness
  • Consult hotel sales-, hotel procurement- and management teams on analytical ways to improve program quality and maintain highest sales team efficiencies
  • Collaborate with data experts across HRS Group to establish best-practices, exchange on latest trends, and stay abreast of your area of responsibility

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • Proven 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting, or analytics-/ data engineering and understanding what it takes to design, build and maintain successful analytics decision support (such as reports and dashboards).
  • Experience working with data exploration and modeling platforms such as Exasol, MicroStrategy will be appreciated
  • Sound SQL skills to enable problem solving considering the underlying data warehouse, data volume and loading methods.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical engineers and management
  • Fluent in English

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.

In general the position is assigned to the company headquarters in Cologne (Germany), but can also be agreed as another location position, eg. Berlin (Germany).
