We are looking for a Cologne based Head of HR Business Partner & Strategy (m/f/d) who strategically and tactically plays a vital, hands-on role in developing and shaping the HRS Organization as well as running HR operations through Business Partnering.


Your challenge 

  • Plays a leading strategic role where he/she ensures that all strategies implemented are aligned with the overall business priorities and goals 
  • Leads the business’s design, and change of management projects initiated by the HR Business Partner team with a view of creating speed and efficiency across the business
  • Leads cross functional teams such as HR Business Partnering, Operation & Services, HR Transformation & Processeses and Legal Labour Law
  • Maintains a full perspective of the business at all times, placing emphasis on employee relations, policies, and people management procedures in application across the business 
  • Steers data management and governance practices, tools and technology evolution, leveraging best practices in the industry   
  • Steers all HR processes such as forecasting, salary payments and administration
  • Takes initiative in enforcing the importance of complying with the HR policies, procedures and  processes 
  • Ensures that key members in the HR Business Partner and Service team are equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties   

 

Your commitment  

  • University degree in business administration or equivalent studies
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a Senior HR Business Partner management role, ideally in a fast pacing environment
  • Several years of professional experience in the consolidation of international businesses
  • A proven and successful ability to build, lead, and integrate effective and lasting people management programs within a business 
  • Demonstrates successful experience building awareness on key organizational issues and presenting a relevant solution, guide departmental heads, management, and stakeholders through a collaborative and shared decision making process  
  • Has experience in business process optimization with significant exposure in review processes that lead to the identification of redundancies or inefficiencies 
  • Being passionate about conducting deriving insights form data and information, identifying lasting potential solutions for HR procedures and policies
  • Excellent negotiation skills and strong conflict management skills 
  • Fluency in German and English (with >C2 skill level), spoken and written
