We are looking for a Cologne based Manager Portfolio Steering (m/f/d) to oversee the planning and prioritization of all Business Units wide projects and to develop, establish and maintain project management standards and procedures.

 

 

Your challenges

  • Own all internal processes and initiatives and oversee the definition of standards, KPIs and continuous process improvements
  • Steer selection, prioritization and control of initiatives and projects, in line with strategic objectives and capacity
  • Oversee activities, monitor the process and work closely with all units to identify synergies and opportunities
  • Establish processes to provide transparency into roadmaps
  • Identify dependencies between BU and remove bottlenecks
  • Guide BU wide review, planning and retrospectives
  • Help and guide the teams in aligning to (agile) working methods and tool usage
  • Ensure frictionless state-of-the-art ways of working
  • Check and consult on adaptation of resource allocation

 

Your commitment

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing, business informatics / engineering or similar
  • Agile driven mindset
  • Track record in large-scale project management and at least 4 years of experience in portfolio/program management
  • Strong knowledge of Atlassian Suite to administrate the Portfolio Board and give guidance of the teams
  • The ability to transfer knowledge between the teams and bridging the gaps (e.g. from Product to Marketing)
  • A genuine love for collaboration and with great interpersonal skills
  • Business / financial knowledge and understanding – the role needs to crosscheck and challenge projects/ initiatives on their usefulness from a PnL point of view
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS-Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written
