Your tasks:


  • Supervision, management and control of the technical property-management as well as property inspections with technical evaluation and reporting at our Cologne headquarter
  • Selection, commission and monitoring of external service providers as well as monitoring of maintenance, modernization and optimization
  • Independent performance of facility-related tenders and negotiations as well as support in the tendering process in Central Procurement
  • Monitoring of the safety and commercial regulations
  • Cost planning and control as well as the preparation of evaluations and statistics
  • Coordination of the headquarters service providers, including in the areas of cleaning, upkeeping and maintenance
  • Communication towards and coordination of the lessor and its subcontractors
  • Administration of service provider contracts
  • Rental management of the sub-tenants in the headquarter: Handover of offices, support and first point of contact for the sub-tenants, broker and coordination of tasks with other departments
  • Supporting the international locations in the search and negotiations of new office locations / flexible New Work models
  • Processing of insurance claims in coordination with Central Procurement
  • Management of general upkeepers and facility activities, in particular the correction of identified malfunction and damages


Your profile:


  • Completed professional training in structural engineering or similar
  • Extensive specific professional experience as a Property Manager as well as very good knowledge of building services engineering
  • Experience in conducting tenders and negotiations
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Ability to work in a team and flexibility as well as a high degree of reliability
  • Friendly demeanor and good communication skills
  • Very good written and spoken skills in German and English
  • proficient use of Office tools, especially Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Ideally, certification as a fire protection officer and experience/training in occupational safety / as a safety officer
  • Ideally, experience in leading a small team
