BUSINESS UNIT
Our value proposition in Procurement Solutions initiates and completes the supply chain of: Intelligent Procurement, Smart Booking and Invisible Payment. It aims to achieve a continuous, cyclic optimization in such supply chain. Within, we initialize the preferred program’s optimization with the ingestion of all internal and external spend and behavioral data associated with the customer’s hospitality activities. Based on the consolidated data we develop a market strategy for the customer and deliver an optimized hotel program recommendation that mitigates direct and indirect cost factors as well as the increase of the traveler’s satisfaction. Once the optimal hotel program is aligned with the customer, we initiate the negotiation with suppliers to contractually agree on the best conditions to be supplied within the optimal hotel program, compliant to renewed procurement strategy, before then ensuring its full and correct availability across booking channels and adherence in financial reconciliation.
POSITION
The future position holder of the Director of Procurement Consulting - APAC (m/f/d) will be responsible for managing the project of the lodging programs for our big and small accounts in a global environment and will also be responsible for the development of a global segment within the procurement organization. We want to add maximum value to our customers with expertise in the segment, bringing references, trends, and experiences that can further improve the program positioning us as referral consultants. The position is located as an important interface between the requirements and needs of the customers and the procurement organization and collaborates closely with the HRS sales organization for business development.
Regarding program management, the scope of work is to analyze, create and recommend a strategy, monitor it, and continuously optimize the strategic scenario. In addition, to follow the complete procure-to-buy chain and to act as a focal point of contact and ensure customer satisfaction.
This position will have a dedicated team of strategic consultants and business analysts that will be developed by the future incumbent.
CHALLENGE
- In alignment with strategic goals, define and implement solutions for clients to achieve their objectives considering our 5S framework (savings, satisfaction, sustainability, safety & security) providing benchmarks and insights
- Have a holistic view of the end-to-end business and work so that the organization can deliver results efficiently and continuously for all stakeholders: customers, partners and HRS
- Act as the one responsible face to the customer, nonetheless being supported by operational teams, strategic consultants and solution experts
- Negotiate with partners in order to raise the position of customers in the negotiation and thus bring significant results
- Foster a market that is still very traditional in the way it procures for pioneering solutions that continuously differentiate our added value
- Develop new business solutions for new and existing customers by supporting the sales team with benchmarks, specific knowledge, a consultative approach and by calculating business cases
- Managing projects efficiently with transparency and ensuring quality, delivery dates, as well as operating costs and investments
- Plan procurement projects and align with the entire organization for efficient work
- Promote a culture of continuous change for business betterment through constant improvement of structures and processes
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
- A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of business administration
- 7+ years of experience in leading program/project management in a management or procurement consultancy with a focus on specific segments (Manufacturing; Technology; Public / health / NPO; Financial; Energy; Automotive; Consulting; FMCG and retail; Chemical / Pharma; Transportation / crew)
- Ability to analyze data and derive pro-actively strategic initiatives out of them aimed at achieving customer success
- Strong project management skills and proven track record to lead multiple project tasks and teams
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Independent, structured way of working and strong conceptual thinking skills
- Strong business acumen and good negotiation skills
- Enjoy high performance and fast changing environments
- Possess a high degree of self-motivation, pro-activeness, forward thinking and assertiveness in order to manage customer expectations as well as driving internal collaboration
- Experience in building a long-lasting senior stakeholder network within the customers organization on a global scale
- Business level fluency in English – other languages are a plus
- Quick understanding of complex relationships, structured and independent way of working, paired with a high degree of initiative and responsibility

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
