We are looking for a Shanghai-based Key Account Manager Chains China (m/f/d) to act as an ambassador on behalf of HRS in the managed sales area.


Your challenges

  • Identify, acquire, optimize relationships with national and international hotel chains with focus on relevant portfolio coverage, corporate distribution optimization, commercial program engagements and relationship profitability
  • Establish a strong relationship with existing national and international hotel chains partnerships to maximize HRS return on investment
  • Exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets on assigned national and international hotel chain accounts 
  • Optimize quality content of assigned national and international hotel chains to ensure state of the art presentation and availability to HRS customers 
  • Maximize the income with the respective hotel chain partners, facilitating access to HRS Customer base with the support of the local and international commercial team members (Enterprise Solutions, Sourcing, MICE)
  • Manage the hotel chain partner connectivity options, with focus on safeguarding profitability with the support of HRS interface team and IT team 
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events


Your commitment

  • A bachelor degree or above
  • Several years of working experience in distribution, business travel and/or the hospitality industry
  • Strong ability to conduct commercial negotiation with proven track records of high-level achievements
  • Solid knowledge of the tourism industry and electronic distribution 
  • Financially savvy with strong ability to take full responsibility for an end-to-end commercial relationship on PnL level
  • Results-oriented and able to create business plans with short, mid and long terms strategy
  • A structured, independent and goal-oriented working style
  • Good communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Fluent command of English, both spoken and written
