HRS AS A COMPANY

HRS is transforming the future of corporate travel through innovative technology. In a $600 billion global lodging and meetings market, inefficiencies are rampant—from frustrating traveler experiences caused by outdated check-in and payment systems to millions lost annually due to missing or non-compliant invoices that block VAT reclaim. With travel increasingly complex and fragmented, the opportunity for innovation is enormous—and HRS is leading the charge.

HRS offers an unparalleled end-to-end solution for managing corporate lodging, group travel, long stay, and meetings—all within a single, unified platform. With HRS Connect, companies gain access to a sleek, consumer-grade booking interface that consolidates fragmented travel spend and delivers full visibility across all travel categories. This is paired with HRS’s proprietary AI Copilot, which enables travel and procurement leaders to steer their programs strategically with real-time data, actionable insights, and one-click implementation of optimizations.

Together, these solutions empower organizations to drive measurable cost savings, boost policy compliance, and radically improve the traveler experience. The HRS platforms enable customers to achieve up to 3x return on investment, achieve close to 100% invoice compliance, and increase corporate program adoption by over 20% — which is particularly relevant in unmanaged spend areas like meetings and groups.

With over two decades of proprietary data, market-leading AI, and deep integration across the travel and expense ecosystem, HRS powers travel programs for 35% of the Fortune 500. From seamless payment to e-invoicing to VAT reclaim, HRS offers unmatched transparency, governance, and performance — turning travel into a data-driven advantage with a sharp focus on customer excellence, compliance, and automation.

BUSINESS UNIT

FinTech is at the core of HRS’s value proposition — simplifying travel payments, automating invoicing, and transforming spend data into actionable insights. Key HRS innovations such as seamless payments, automated invoice validation, fully eligible VAT reclaim, and actionable spend data insights are all powered by the FinTech organization.

These capabilities not only drive bottom-line improvements and ensure regulatory compliance for our customers but also play a critical role in enabling HRS’s go-to-market strategy. As adoption of our payment offering grows, it strengthens our global partner ecosystem—unlocking network effects that drive greater value and scalability across the platform. FinTech doesn’t just support the travel experience; it powers a strategic financial infrastructure that helps enterprises manage risk, reclaim costs, and optimize spend.

As a member of the FinTech team, you’ll operate at the crossroads of travel and finance, helping some of the world’s leading businesses streamline complex payment flows and gain control over their global travel spend—with visibility, automation, and intelligence at every step.

POSITION

We are looking for a German-speaking Product Manager to own customer discovery, validation, and go-to-market efforts for the DACH market. You’ll act as the voice of German-speaking enterprise customers, ensuring we build FinTech solutions that truly solve their pain points and are viable to deliver at scale. This is a Europe-based role, working closely with international delivery and operations teams.

You’ll take full ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle—from problem discovery to rollout—delivering financial workflows that reduce friction, boost efficiency, and drive business impact.

CHALLENGE

  • Customer Discovery & DACH Ownership: As the DACH Owner, you will lead customer discovery and validation for enterprise clients across the region. This includes conducting interviews, usability tests, and problem-framing sessions in German to surface critical customer needs.
  • Drive Discovery: As part of the Product Trio, you will apply tools such as PRFAQs, clickable prototypes, and structured customer interviews to identify and validate product–market fit. You will define both qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess value and adoption and collaborate closely within the Trio to ensure usability standards are met and continuously improved.
  • Viability, Rollout & Operational Readiness: You will own the full delivery and quality lifecycle of FinTech solutions. Working hand-in-hand with agile engineering teams, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders—including Operations, Finance, and Platform teams—to validate solution feasibility and ensure operational readiness. You will drive iterative loops based on feedback from customers and data insights. You will also lead rollout planning, organize and execute customer pilots, and ensure commercial readiness in close collaboration with go-to-market teams.

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • You have 3+ years of product management experience in a fast-paced environment, with a strong track record of testing, shipping, and scaling innovative products. Strong B2B experience is essential; experience in travel and/or payments is strongly preferred.
  • You are passionate about solving real customer pain points and have proven customer-facing experience. You are comfortable using tools like prototype testing, customer interviews, and PRFAQs to guide discovery, and have a consistent track record of leveraging data to drive impactful product decisions.
  • You are a strategic product thinker who links product decisions to business goals, demonstrates strong financial acumen in areas such as revenue, margin, and cash contribution, and ensures product relevance through continual competitive and industry research.
  • You take full ownership—hands-on, pragmatic, and accountable from idea to impact. Whether that means drafting marketing and sales materials, writing a roll-out plan, or investigating the root cause of metrics performance, you take initiative and follow through.
  • You thrive in ambiguity, balancing big-picture vision with rapid execution. Curiosity and adaptability are your edge.
  • You are a professional-level German speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and are based in Europe, within CET-compatible time zone.

PERSPECTIVE

  • Purposeful Innovation: Work on meaningful challenges at global scale. From AI-powered spend insights to automated VAT reclaim, you’ll help bring cutting-edge solutions to a €600B+ market—delivering real value to some of the world’s top brands.
  • High-Impact Work: Take full ownership of FinTech products that directly influence global enterprise spend—driving measurable cost savings, streamlining compliance, and shaping the future of financial automation in corporate travel.
  • Strategic Scope & Autonomy: Operate at the intersection of finance, tech, and travel. You’ll be trusted to lead initiatives end-to-end, from ideation to delivery, with full support from leadership and a strong product-engineering culture.
  • Growth-Driven Environment: Join a fast-paced, high-learning environment where ambitious talent thrives. You’ll collaborate with seasoned professionals across product, engineering, and data—and have opportunities to step into senior leadership roles as we scale.
