The HRS Business Travel Club (BTC) is the Business Unit managing and developing the HRS E-Commerce platforms of the well-known hotel portal businesses of HRS.de and HOTEL.DE that gradually transform into much more than “just” a platform. BTC provides its members, individual business travelers and SMEs, with a distinct range of exclusive services, which shape tomorrow´s upgraded travel experience. The goal of BTC is to deliver growth as well as sustainable profitability over time by enhancing customer loyalty between the brand and its customers, enabling the Brands Repositioning in the marketplace and unlocking additional potentials via optimized supplier management. Thus, BTC and its products, plays an important role in HRS´s DACH strategy as it revolves around a disruption of the interplay between hotel and workplace supply and e-commerce and a domination of the Business Travel DACH market. Your mission is to further develop and shape the "The HRS Business Travel Club" and its solutions and make it the next innovation of the HRS Group together with a great team.
POSITION
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced product leader to join our team as Director Product Management.
In this role, you will lead our product teams of six people, drive the discovery phase of new features, and optimize our booking funnels for maximum efficiency and conversion.
You will coach and develop product managers, implementing modern product management practices into the organization.
This role is integral crucial in defining the strategic and operational direction of product development for the HRS Business Travel Club E-Commerce unit.
CHALLENGE
- Own the Product vision and strategy. Together with Engineering and Design, you are responsible for the roadmap and execution. Ensure product development initiatives are closely integrated with overall business strategies.
- Champion the product discovery, identify customer needs along the customer journey, conduct interviews, and create problem spaces for product managers to explore.
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy. Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring continuous optimization.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish a framework for ongoing monitoring and communicate progress and insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and lead a team of multiple Product Managers, support them as a mentor, and empower them to grow together. You foster a culture of excellence and innovation, set high standards and encourage the team to achieve strategic goals.
- Contribute to the further development of product management and ensure a focus on results, transparency, and efficient workflow.

- Extensive experience in product management and an in-depth understanding of the various aspects and requirements involved.
- Proven success in leading and scaling product management teams, with a track record of delivering user-centric solutions that drive significant business growth and improve conversion rates.
- Deep understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies, and experience with event driven, microservices architecture.
- Strong strategic planning skills, with the expertise to develop product roadmaps, allocate resources effectively, and use data-driven decisions to steer product direction.
- A passion for optimizing the customer experience and a demonstrated capability for conducting interviews with customers, defining areas for improvement, and focusing on delivering customer value.
- Excellent leadership skills with the talent to inspire and motivate teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving innovation.
- Experience of working in a global context and understanding diverse market needs are highly beneficial.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
