At HRS we understand Finance as a value-enabling function as it is an essential ingredient to our business success. In order to ensure the efficient financial management and financial control necessary to support all business activities, it comprises all major related responsibilities: from Financial and Cash Flow Management, Accounting, Advising and longer-term financing, Tax Management, Investment Management, to Purchasing, Controlling, Budgeting and Forecasting as well as Financial Reporting and Analysis to assisting and challenging the CEO, Business Unit Leaders and Managers in making key strategic decisions. 
The department is set up as a shared service for the HRS Group with a cross-location team of around 40 experts, headed by the CFO and his Management Team, working on standardized workflows to increase efficiency on the one hand and apply state of the art decision-making tools and principle-based recommendations to foster organizational resilience in times of rapid change on the other.


We are looking for an Accountant (all genders) to join our team of dedicated professionals, working closely with the senior accountants, you will be responsible for the consolidation and payment processes for the parent company HRS GmbH and 4 other entities. 


  • Checking and posting of incoming invoices
  • Coordination of our working students to ensure the correct accounting of incoming invoices
  • Maintenance of the open item list as well as reconciliation of accounts payable and cost evaluation
  • Checking, account assignment and posting of travel expense reports
  • Posting and reconciliation of bank statements
  • Support activities for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the german accounting principles (HGB)
  • Preparation of internal reports as support for the Finance Manager
  • Improvement of accounting-related processes


  • Professional experience in accounting, in particular accounts payable/receivable and bank accounting, based on commercial training or a degree in business administration
  • Practical knowledge from accounting according to HGB
  • Experience in posting and reconciling accounts payable, accounts receivable and the bank ledger as well as accrual accounting
  • In-depth knowledge of national sales tax law in correlation with incoming invoices
  • Practical experience in using ERP systems (SAP ERP 6.0 module FI as well as SAP S4 HANA desirable)
  • Very good understanding of numbers as well as good analytical skills in evaluating accounting data combined with a good sense of order and structure
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
  • High degree of hands-on mentality, commitment, team spirit as well as an independent and responsible way of working characterize you
