Head of Global Event Management (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Global Head of Event Management (m/f/d), based in our HQ in Cologne to plan, organize and execute our next-generation of digitally enabled Event Platforms around the globe to strengthen the unique positioning of HRS as the thought leader within the corporate travel industry. In today’s crowded event space, you need to have the strongest event attendee experience to attract attendees and showcase your brand. Our Global Head will be charged with making sure we have the „must attend“ events.
Your challenges
- Develop an innovative live event strategy centrally that utilizes new formats and all forms of digital communications to make our events unique and stand out in the travel and procurement industries
- Adopting, creating global standards and, in some cases, executing Events in +25 countries around the globe, inspiring our local Marketing teams to deliver more to amaze our customers
- Lead an internal expert team and act as a consultant to marketing managers in the field, in order to organize, coordinate and follow-up of HRS local and global events
- Prepare investments, ensure adherence and measure ROI
- Be the interface between sales & marketing and product teams
- Manage external service providers, as well as contact persons for partners, participants and sponsors
- Coordinate all operations (construction and negotiation with suppliers and onsite planning)
- Analyze the event success and prepare reports
- Drive concept innovation and execution in all events
Your commitment
- Several years of live event management ideally within the digital / tech space utilizing new formats and creative audience engagement that have captured a high ROI advantage. Must be able to show expertise in strategy development, live event conception, execution and measurement.
