The HRS Business Travel Club (BTC) is based on the Commerce platforms of the well-known hotel portal businesses of HRS.de and HOTEL.DE that transform into much more than “just” a platform: BTC provides its members, individual business travelers and SMEs, with a distinct range of exclusive services, which shape tomorrow´s safe, sustainable and upgraded travel experience. The primary purpose of BTC is to create loyalty between HRS and its customers. We envision a Prime like system for Business Travelers, where members get on “golden handcuffs” in exchange for superior benefits and services. Thus, the Club and its products, plays an important role in HRS´s DACH strategy as it revolves around a disruption of the interplay between hotel and workplace supply and e-commerce and a domination of the Business Travel DACH market.
Your mission is to further develop and shape the "The HRS Business Travel Club" and its solutions and make it the next innovation of the HRS Group together with a great team.

The Position: Head of Supply Solutions (m/f/d)


In the responsible management position of the head of Supply Solutions, the future position holder takes on the responsibility to shape the company's supplier (hotel partner) relationships and determines which activities to engage in with each supplier. The goal is to streamline and improve processes between determined hotels and the BTC platform and facilitate the creation of products that deliver value to both customers and partners.
The position is located as an important interface between the requirements and needs of customers and hotel partners and collaborates closely with sales and marketing. This will require a hands-on approach, combined with excellent technical competence and exceptional partner management to drive engagement and measures such as building strong, trust-based partnerships.
As direct report to the CGO

Your challenge:

  • Enable the procurement of hotel offerings that cater to the needs of travelers and manage the commercial implementation with end-to-end responsibility
  • Conduct hotel market analysis and hotel assessment activities to support sourcing strategies
  • Push the automation of the sourcing process forward and generate incremental revenues through new products
  • Liaise closely with our hotel solutions department and steer our sales teams to contract the right hotels with the according products
  • Make smart use of data to understand the behavior patterns of visitors and customers and enhance customer satisfaction by curating content offering
  • Align with our product & engineering teams to uplift the hotel-experience on our supply-facing technical landscape
  • Manage department-overarching projects that affect the global organization
  • Negotiate with regional and global hotel suppliers to ensure best-in-class offerings
  • Develop and realize a vision on how to interact and communicate with our hotel supply partners
  • Support the HRS Group´s Supplier platform model and according transformation plan

For this exciting mission you are equipped with…

  • A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of business administration computer science, information technology or equivalent practical experience
  • Several years’ proven experience of managing supplier relations, preferably within the hospitality or consulting space
  • A data driven profile who is also commercially minded, with strong analytical skills. Experience creating dashboards for metrics reporting
  • An excellent understanding for what the customer wants. Talented at analyzing and understanding customer needs by interpreting data and identifying trends
  • Strong Networking skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills to influence and inspire business partners and support cross-functional teams in delivering results
  • The courage of an entrepreneur with pronounced analytical and problem-solving skills, also to prioritize according to characteristics of increasing efficiency and to deal efficiently with decentralized structures
  • The innate drive to do things better paired with strong problem-solving skills, creativity to develop new possibilities and processes
  • Quick comprehension and comprehension of complex relationships, structured and independent way of working, paired with a high degree of initiative and responsibility
  • Empathy, authenticity, integrity, commitment, resilience, respect and tact in dealing with employees, business partners and other stakeholders
  • Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written


Location, Mobility, Incentive:

In general the position is assigned to the company headquarters in Cologne, but can also be agreed as another location position, preferably in Berlin, Germany.
The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
