BUSINESS UNIT

HRS’ legal team is a central service provider in the HRS group dedicated to deliver solid, pragmatic and fast legal advice to senior management and all key functions of the HRS business worldwide.

POSITION

We are seeking a confident, curious and self-motivated lawyer based in Germany (ideally Rhine-Ruhr area) to join the growing HRS Legal team who will work closely with others stakeholders in the global HRS organization. This is a generalist role with a high focus on IT law, commercial and corporate affairs.

CHALLENGE

  • Draft and negotiate international, commercial agreements with a focus on customers, hotel partners, strategic partnerships, supply distribution, new initiatives, software development, RfPs, marketing, and public relations
  • Provide sound legal advice in other fields of the law e.g. intellectual property, data protection, competition law, IT and consumer law
  • Together with business owners, interact with insurance brokers and manage group insurance portfolio
  • Manage daily legal matters and disputes independently
  • Support, manage and document all corporate matters and transactions for all HRS group companies (corporate housekeeping), e.g. adjustment of articles, by-laws, appointment/ dismissal of managing directors, shareholder resolutions etc.

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • minimum of 3 -5 years post qualified experience
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and legal drafting in  German and English
  • Qualified lawyer/attorney with current entitlement to practice
  • Strong academic credentials, top-tier law firm experience plus prior in-house and significant corporate and commercial experience
  • Experience in handling corporate secretarial matters. This role will be the primary contact for all issues for related to HRS group companies worldwide
  • Interest in technology and fast-pace innovations
  • A structured, independent and goal-oriented working style - focusing on fast and flawless execution
  • Proactive, self-driven and hands-on with a core ability to solve – not only flag - problems, make the complex simple and standardize workflows and processes
  • Ability to work independently from intake through execution and work closely with business partners and external advisors, notaries, providers
  • Ability to forge trusted relationships and collaborate with colleagues around the world
  • Experience with travel industry is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual bonus.
