BUSINESS UNIT

The corporate strategy team is strongly focused on developing and driving HRS Group’s strategy across all of its three business units: Enterprise Solutions (large global customers), Business Travel Club (German SMEs), and Destination Solutions (vacation rentals). The team is a main value contributor by continuously conceptualizing the company’s offering based on market needs and technology trends, detailing and operationally pushing the group-wide growth plan into local markets. By supporting group-level or high-priority BU-specific activities, the team is at the forefront of disrupting global and local business travel and vacation rental markets and setting new standards within their challenging ecosystems.
 

POSITION

We are looking for a Cologne-based Manager Corporate Development – Process Efficiency & Automation (all genders), who will be a key driver in shaping the strategic initiatives of our organization. The future placeholder will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving automation processes across the company. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in corporate development, process optimization, and automation.

CHALLENGE

  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Take ownership of diverse projects within corporate development, focusing on process efficiency and automation from conceptualization to realization.
  • Functional Expertise: Be the go-to expert for process efficiency and automation, providing insights and recommendations to enhance operational workflows.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the senior management team to align corporate development strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Drive collaboration and alignment between interdisciplinary teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Strategic Coaching: Coach business units and functional leaders on matters related to process optimization, automation, and overall corporate development.
  • Knowledge Development: Quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of the company's business models and industry trends, positioning yourself for future leadership roles.

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • Professional Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in a managerial role within corporate development, process optimization, or automation, preferably with a global scope.
  • Background: Proven experience in a top-tier strategy consultancy or within leading SaaS companies.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated success in leading and completing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on operational efficiency and digitalization.
  • Analytical Skills: Outstanding conceptual, analytical, and structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both English (spoken and written); German and/or additional languages are a plus.
  • Results-Oriented: Passionate about working in a pragmatic and results-driven environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to quickly build credibility, trust, and effectively collaborate within interdisciplinary teams and matrix organizations.

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual bonus.

In general, the position is assigned to the company headquarters in Cologne but can be agreed as any location within Germany. The position includes an attractive remuneration that is in line with the market.
