BUSINESS UNIT
The Payment unit owns the end-to-end customer journey from technical consultative selling, over delivery up to smooth ongoing operations for customers of HRS payment solutions. The business unit is responsible for understanding customer requirements, demonstrating the value and capabilities of HRS payment solution offerings, addressing technical inquiries, and building trust with prospects as well as existing HRS payment customers. The more corporate clients use PAY, the more third-party partners such as banks, card issuers, ERPs, booking platforms and other financial service providers want to partner and collaborate with us, and this drives further commercial growth for PAY by monetizing these partnership streams.

Mission
As PAY Consultant DACH at HRS, your mission is to drive enterprise customer adoption of HRS PAY solutions by acting as the commercial and consultative bridge between customer Finance, IT, Procurement, and internal commercial teams.
You partner with enterprise customers to understand their finance processes, payment flows, ERP landscape, and operational challenges, translating those needs into scalable commercial solution concepts that support successful deal conversion and implementation readiness.
You report directly to the Global Director Payment Consulting.
Impact
You directly contribute to enterprise revenue growth and customer conversion success for HRS PAY in DACH.
By helping customers optimize payment and finance processes while aligning business and technical stakeholders, you position HRS as a strategic payment and finance transformation partner for large enterprise organizations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Solution Consulting & Commercial Support
- Support enterprise sales cycles by positioning HRS PAY solutions to Finance, Procurement, and IT stakeholders.
- Lead customer discussions around payment automation, reconciliation workflows, ERP integrations, and finance process optimization and B2B payment workflows including virtual card (vCC) processes.
- Translate customer business requirements into scalable commercial solution concepts together with Product and Implementation teams.
- Act as the trusted advisor during pre-sales and solution validation phases.
- Develop ROI-driven value propositions focused on automation, compliance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Payment & ERP Ecosystem Enablement
- Work with enterprise finance ecosystems including SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Concur, SAP Ariba, and related platforms.
- Coordinate with issuers, banking partners, Travel Management Companies, and implementation teams to ensure smooth solution alignment.
- Support multi-market rollout planning and implementation readiness.
- Ensure customer requirements around reconciliation, payment flows, and finance operations are reflected in the proposed solution setup.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT stakeholders within enterprise organizations.
- Align internal commercial, product, and delivery teams around customer requirements and solution feasibility.
- Support complex enterprise opportunities and strategic customer discussions throughout the deal cycle.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in payment solutions, ERP consulting, finance transformation consulting, enterprise SaaS solution consulting, or related enterprise finance environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise finance and accounting processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), reconciliation workflows, payment flows, finance process automation, B2B payment automation processes and virtual card (vCC) workflows are considered a strong plus
Ability to engage credibly with both Finance and IT stakeholders. - Experience supporting enterprise customers in complex B2B environments.
- Knowledge of ERP and finance ecosystems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, Coupa, SAP Ariba, Concur, or related platforms.
- Strong consultative, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to support enterprise deal conversion and customer adoption.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluent German (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is required for global collaboration.

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
The role is based in Germany, with preference for Cologne or Berlin, where HRS has its main offices. The attractive remuneration package is in line with the market and includes a competitive fixed salary, a strong variable compensation component, as well as all necessary work equipment and mobility support.
