BUSINESS UNIT

At HRS we understand Finance as a value-enabling function as it is an essential ingredient to our business success. In order to ensure the efficient financial management and financial control necessary to support all business activities, it comprises all major related responsibilities: from Financial and Cash Flow Management, Accounting, Advising and longer-term financing, Tax Management, Investment Management, to Purchasing, Controlling, Budgeting and Forecasting as well as Financial Reporting and Analysis to assisting and challenging the CEO, Business Unit Leaders and Managers in making key strategic decisions. 
The department is set up as a shared service for the HRS Group with a cross-location team of around 40 experts, headed by the CFO and his Management Team, working on standardized workflows to increase efficiency on the one hand and apply state of the art decision-making tools and principle-based recommendations to foster organizational resilience in times of rapid change on the other.

POSITION

We are looking for a Cologne based Treasury Manager (all genders) who is eager to take on an array of responsibilities and who designs, builds and continuously improves our treasury processes.

CHALLENGE

  • Responsibility for the liquidity management and treasury risk- and compliance management
  • Development of financing and treasury strategy with senior finance leadership
  • Design of internal and external credit lines
  • Usage of common global finance instruments (factoring, leasing, guarantees, letters of credit)
  • Enhancement of short- and mid-term liquidity forecasts
  • Standardization, development and digitalisation of treasury processes including global guidelines and procedual instructions
  • Building and development of cash pooling
  • Participation of contract negotiations with banks in terms of financial agreements
  • Determination of corporate cost of capital and reporting and handling of daily business tasks 
  • Steering of global treasury projects

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • University degree with a business background, ideally complemented by a training in treasury and/ or financial area
  • Several years of professional experience in treasury, consulting and / or banking with international activities
  • Sound project management skills, esp. in digitalization
  • Strong analytical and numerical competencies and a pragmatic hands-on way of thinking and acting
  • In-depth knowledge of treasury and management reporting standards in combination with high knowledge of automation 
  • Communicative Teamplayer with strong attitude to take and get responsibility 
  • Deep expertise in handling with the common MS office package as well as SAP
  • Fluency in German and English, spoken and written

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

In general, the position is assigned to be in Cologne, Germany. The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
