POSITION

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Working Student IT Support & Infrastructure (m/f/d) to join our Corporate IT team based in Cologne. You will provide technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth operations of our information technology systems and with that have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic work environment while supporting our organization's IT infrastructure.

CHALLENGE

  • Assist employees with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Respond to support requests via ticketing system, chat, phone, or in person
  • Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals
  • Create and manage user accounts, ensuring appropriate access rights and permissions
  • Assist in onboarding new employees, setting up their workstations, and providing necessary IT equipment
  • Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions to build a knowledge base
  • Contribute to the development of user guides and IT documentation
  • Share knowledge and provide training to employees on basic IT topics

 

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and common software applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective support to end-users
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in IT support or customer service is a plus but not required
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written is must have 
  • Location nearby Cologne as a must
