At HRS, Finance shall be more than just a department—it's the backbone of our business triumphs. From Financial and Cash Flow Management, to Accounting, Long-Term Financing, Tax Management, Investment Strategy, Purchasing, Controlling, Budgeting, Forecasting, and comprehensive Financial Reporting and Analysis. In an ideal scenario, Finance is not just crunching numbers but act as strategic partners who advise and challenge the CEO, Business Unit Leaders, and Managers in their pivotal decisions.
Operating as a shared service across the vast HRS Group landscape, the team of approximately 40 experts thrives on collaboration. POSITION
We are on the hunt for a dynamic and strategic Director Controlling/Financial Planning (all genders), acting as a challenging and demanding partner for our Group Business Unit´s Managing Directors and the CEO / CFO.
This pivotal role is execution driven, takes ownership and prioritizes projects and tasks with a global, corporate view on the business activities and pushing things forward in accordance with strong monitoring and management advise across our global markets.
CHALLENGE
Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies for long-term sustainability. Optimize capital allocation and enhance financial growth. Transform and educate current Controlling team bringing them up to speed
Growth Strategy: Embracing change and taking ownership for financial steering of the company. Establish business-oriented mindset – business partnering and consulting.
Execution: Responsible for the central planning and controlling process of the HRS Group. Responsible for reporting and providing analytical insight as well as setting the standards (focus on the right KPI’s to manage and steer the business).
Operational Excellence: Preparation of targets for the group and development of measures to achieve the targets. Support of group-wide projects to increase efficiency. Preparation of presentations and recommendations for action for the Executive Board as well as preparation of Boards and Committees.
Team Leadership: Leading interdisciplinary teams, controlling processes across organizations.

Experience: A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of business administration. Extensive experience in Controlling and Financial Planning
Domain Expertise: Strong background in SaaS technology companies.
Adaptability and Innovation: Ability to work within a fast-paced, evolving environment while embracing change and driving innovation.
Vision and Execution: Profound understanding of Finance IT technologies (S4Hana, etc.) In-depth knowledge of HGB and IFRS. Ability to analyze data and derive pro-actively strategic initiatives out of them Responsible for meeting tactical objectives and commitments within the established methodological framework.
Problem-Solving and Creativity: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including fluent English proficiency. Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability for project outcomes. Absolute adherence to deadlines, organizational skills as well as the ability to reduce complexity.
Personal Attributes: Possess a high degree of self-motivation, pro-activeness, forward thinking and assertiveness in order to manage customer expectations as well as driving internal collaboration.
Language: Business fluent in English and German, spoken and written.

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
The position is based in Cologne or Berlin, combined with travelling to HQ (Cologne) with an Hybrid working model. The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual bonus.
