In HRS Crew & Passenger Solutions we guide global transportation companies (airline, railway and logistics) to embrace the digital transformation journey in lodging, driving savings and process automation with a full customer-centric approach. Our solution is targeting crew members servicing a plane, train or ship, and accommodates stranded passengers when there is a flight or a train disruption. As one modular platform, our solution covers all lodging and logistic needs across the customer end-to-end journey: from procurement, lodging planning and operations, to hotel-stay experience, communication management, payment and billing; delivering benefits not only to the end-user, but also yields significant cost, process and time-savings for operational departments. 


In this Global Program Manager - Airline Industry (m/f/d) position, you will be responsible to develop and expand the business with our strategic accounts in EMEA, upselling new products and solutions while driving strategic sales initiatives in line with their objectives. This includes the execution and operational delivery of the initiatives, to be managed and organized in cooperation with our internal teams: business partners, product and implementation. The position is also an important interface to the market, providing insights on the industry and cross-functionally support business development activities with other air operators. The position is reporting directly to the CEO of Crew & Passenger Solutions.


  • You are responsible for managing Crew & Passenger programs and initiatives for our strategic customers, driving growth and customer vision
  • In alignment with your customers’ strategic goals, you define and implement initiatives helping them to reach their strategic targets, especially around cost savings and traveler satisfaction
  • You lead the commercial P&L of HRS towards these customers and derive value for both the customer and HRS as well as lead the commercial discussions
  • Take ownership of the implementation of initiatives in collaboration with our internal experts and manage a complex project matrix organization across multiple departments
  • You are acting as the one responsible face to the customer and its subsidiaries, nonetheless being supported by operational teams and solution experts
  • You will gain deep knowledge of the entire value proposition of HRS Crew & Passenger and can act as your own entrepreneur within the HRS organization


  • A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of business administration
  • Several years of consulting or account management experience from SaaS industry, Professional Services or from Start-up environment having served global airline operators (airline industry knowledge is highly preferable!)
  • You enjoy high performance and fast changing environments
  • You possess a high degree of self-motivation, pro-activeness, forward thinking and assertiveness in order to manage customer expectations as well as driving internal collaboration
  • Experience in building a long-lasting senior stakeholder network within the customer’s organization on a global scale
  • Ability to analyze data and derive pro-actively strategic initiatives out of them, aimed at achieving customer success
  • Strong project management skills and proven track record
  • Strong business acumen and good negotiation skills
  • A visionary understanding for what the customers want before they even know; you have a “nose” for trends and always keep an eye on the market and customer strategy
  • The innate drive to do things better - both on a macro and a micro level - strong problem-solving skills, creativity to develop new possibilities and processes
  • Empathy, authenticity, integrity, commitment, resilience, respect and tact in dealing with employees, business partners and other stakeholders
  • Fluency in German and English, spoken and written

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
