BUSINESS UNIT

ProcureTech digitally revolutionizes lodging procurement, connecting corporations and suppliers in a cutting-edge ecosystem. In the scope of ProcureTech, our Procurement is responsible for state-of-the-art technology that leverages data, AI and advanced technologies to align traveler experiences with the corporate programs of customers. The teams works on high volume data load to enable travel managers and procurement officers gain deep insights into the performance of their travel programs and make data-driven decisions to continually optimize their travel policies to match the strategy of our customers.

POSITION

We are looking for a (Senior) DevOps Engineer (all genders) who loves data, and transform it into valuable information and at the same time create infrastructure, tools, templates, and many more that enable colleagues to ship value to at unprecedented speed to customers. You work on one of our core systems and implement our extranet application, used by thousands of clients to create and manage their assets, content and data

CHALLENGE

• Be part of a team to develop and deploy the Backend applications on AWS cloud architecture using Java and relevant technologies.
• Define and manage cloud infrastructure as code (IAC), improve CI/CD pipeline, ensure scalability and availability of the system, build a monitoring stack, and automate build, configuration, and deployment orchestration scripts, ...
• Utilize a broad toolset for DevOps/Infra and leveraging variety of services from AWS
• Experience in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) desirable
• Leverage generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Code Whisperer, etc., to accelerate software delivery
• Improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of all systems.
• Build and optimize CI and CD for operation and deployment as automatically as possible.
• Building monitoring and observability environments and coach engineers on the team to observability practices; troubleshoot and manage all environments of the team.
• Work with the engineering team and take architectural decisions.
• Have knowledge of AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), network protocols and standards

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

• Bachelor’s Degree in any STEM course or related field
• 3+ years building cloud-based/cloud-native architecture on AWS.
• 1+ years development experience in Java, Python, GoLang or similar programming languages
• 3+ years experience with multiple Infrastructures as Code (AWS Cloudformation, AWS CDK, Terraform), Containerized Orchestration like Docker, Kubernetes
• 2+ years experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes like GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines and AWS CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeBuild.
• 2+ years Experience in software architecture: Monolithic, Microservice, REST API/ SOAP, GraphQL, CDN, etc.…
• Understanding and experience with networking (TCP, UDP ...)
• 3+ years Experience with software delivery life cycle workflows and practices including: version control, Infrastructures as code, code documentation and reviews,
• Proactive and self-driven
• Experience building on a developer platform team where other engineers were your customers is a plus
• Fluency in English, spoken and written

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
