POSITION

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (all genders)  for a development team in our Ho Chi Minh City office. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of modern SaaS platform architectures and online booking systems, ideally with experience in the travel, tourism, or e-commerce industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the technical implementation of new features, improving performance and reliability, and ensuring a high-quality user experience for our end customers. The team focuses primarily on our B2C Internet Booking Engine (IBE) and our "Agency Console" – an extended booking solution used by travel agencies and local tourism offices as a powerful front-desk and sales tool for searching, booking, and managing offers.

Together with your team in Vietnam you will contribute to the evolution of modern, scalable products that support our growing B2C and agency-focused portfolio.

You will work closely with engineering teams and project leadership in Europe, ensure high code quality and clean implementation of requirements, and help establish best practices within the local team in Ho Chi Minh City.

CHALLENGE

Full-Stack Development: Develop and extend our Agency Console using PHP and our IBE using TypeScript.

· Product Evolution: Further enhance our existing booking products built with PHP/Symfony and Node.js/TypeScript

· Performance Optimization: Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.

· Integration: Design and implement interfaces and APIs connecting the IBE and Agency Console with other DS products.

· Cross-Project Support: Collaborate with other development teams and contribute your expertise to shared initiatives or cross-functional projects when needed.

· Team Leadership: Guide the development team based in our Vietnam office and serve as the key technical counterpart for our B2C team in Germany.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Tech Support, and other development teams to deliver improvements that meet customer needs.

· Modernization: Keep our products aligned with current standards, technologies, and modern API practices.

· Risk & Dependency Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies early in the development process and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate them proactively.

· Monitoring & Metrics: Track and optimize performance and reliability using modern observability tools

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

Professional Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.

· Backend Expertise: Strong knowledge of PHP and the Symfony framework, experience with TypeScript/Next.js

· Frontend Skills: Solid understanding of HTML/CSS and React

· Database Know-how: Practical experience with relational databases like MySQL.

· Cloud Experience: Familiarity with AWS and serverless architectures is an advantage.

· AI & Tooling: Interest or experience in AI-assisted development and modern developer tooling.

· Agile Mindset: Basic understanding of Scrum or other Agile methodologies.

· Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

· Ownership: High sense of responsibility, structured approach, and focus on results.

· Languages: Proficient in English

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
