BUSINESS UNIT

Our Finance Enablement Team comprises a diverse and talented group of professionals dedicated to transforming our Finance IT landscape. POSITION

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Manager specialized in SAP S/4HANA BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) and FI-CO (Finance and Controlling). This role is crucial in ensuring successful implementation and deployment of SAP S/4HANA solutions within the organization. The TM will oversee all aspects of testing related to BRIM and FI-CO modules, working closely with project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to guarantee the quality and reliability of the SAP implementation.

CHALLENGE

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for SAP S/4HANA BRIM/FI-CO implementation projects
    • Define testing scope, objectives, and timelines aligned with project milestones and business requirements
  2. Test Planning and Execution:
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute various phases of testing including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing
    • Ensure test coverage across all modules
  3. Team Leadership and Coordination:
    • Steer a team of internal functional HRS finance experts conducting user acceptance testing, providing guidance and support throughout the testing lifecycle
    • Allocate resources effectively and manage workload distribution among the team of experts
  4. Quality Assurance and Issue Management:
    • Monitor test results and oversee defect management processes using tools like JIRA Zephyr or SAP Solution Manager
    • Collaborate with functional consultants and developers to resolve issues promptly and ensure timely delivery of defect fixes
  5. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders, steering committees, and senior management
    • Prepare and present test reports and metrics highlighting test coverage, defects, and overall quality assurance status
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the testing framework
    • Implement best practices and standard methodologies for SAP S/4HANA BRIM/FI-CO testing based on industry trends and SAP recommendations

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA BRIM and FI-CO modules and associated business processes
  • Testing Expertise: Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP testing initiatives, ideally with exposure to SAP Activate methodology, ISTQB certified at least level 1, ideally level 2)
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a diverse team of UAT testers, prioritize tasks, and manage conflicting priorities
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering solutions to complex technical challenges
  • Certifications: SAP certifications related to SAP S/4HANA, BRIM and/or FI-CO are highly desirable

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP testing roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position, Testing responsibility for a minimum of 3 HANA implementations
