POSITION

We are seeking a Software Engineer – People Technology & AI to build and scale the next generation of data-driven and AI-powered HR platforms. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, data, and HR domain expertise, enabling smarter decision-making across workforce, productivity, and employee lifecycle processes.

You will act as a product-minded engineer, owning end-to-end development of solutions that integrate HR systems, data pipelines, and AI capabilities into scalable, enterprise-grade platforms.

This is not a traditional engineering role — you will translate business problems into data products, shaping how HR operates through technology, analytics, and intelligent automation.

CHALLENGE

1. Build HR Data & Intelligence Platforms

Design and develop scalable platforms that integrate HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, payroll, ATS) into unified data models enabling KPI tracking, analytics, and decision-making.

2. Engineer AI-Enabled HR Solutions

Develop and deploy AI-powered capabilities including forecasting, trend analysis, anomaly detection, and agent-based workflows to enhance HR operations and workforce insights.

3. Own End-to-End Product Development

Lead full lifecycle development — from problem framing, architecture design, development, deployment, and continuous optimization — treating solutions as products, not tickets.

4. Enable Data-Driven HR Decision Making

Translate complex HR and business requirements into intuitive dashboards, data models, and insights that influence leadership decisions and operational efficiency

Engineering & Architecture

  • Design and build full-stack applications using modern frameworks (Next.js, Python, JavaScript, Golang)
  • Develop microservices and APIs for scalable and modular system design
  • Architect and manage cloud-native solutions (AWS: S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda)
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

Data Engineering & Analytics

  • Build lightweight ETL/data pipelines using Python, Pandas, PySpark
  • Define and maintain data models (fact/dimension, KPI structures)
  • Ensure data validation, reconciliation, and integrity across multiple systems
  • Translate data into meaningful business insights, especially within HR contexts

AI & Advanced Analytics

  • Develop AI/ML use cases including: Forecasting workforce trends, Anomaly detection in HR data, Predictive insights for operations
  • Build or integrate LLM based or agentic AI systems for HR workflows
  • Implement evaluation, monitoring, and feedback loops for AI systems

System Integration

  • Integrate HR platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors with internal and external systems
  • Develop and manage API-based integrations across enterprise tools
  • Enable seamless data flow across HR, Finance, and Operations systems

Visualization & Insight Delivery

  • Design and build dashboards and reporting layers that clearly communicate insights
  • Move beyond UI focus on data storytelling and decision enablement

PERSPECTIVE

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering (backend/full-stack)
  • Proven experience building scalable, distributed systems and APIs
  • Hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics pipelines
  • Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based systems in production environments

Technical Skills

  • Strong programming in Python + JavaScript (Node/Next.js)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Knowledge of microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

Data & Business Acumen

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Data modeling (KPIs, metrics, dimensions)
    • Data validation and reconciliation
    • Translating business problems into data solutions
  • Ability to connect technical outputs to business impact (especially HR/workforce context)

AI & Advanced Capabilities (Preferred)

  • Experience with:
    • LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
    • Agentic AI systems and orchestration
    • Prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks
  • Familiarity with MLOps / AIOps pipelines

Integration & HR Tech (Preferred)

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms
  • Exposure to enterprise system integrations (HR, Finance, Payroll)
