BUSINESS UNIT

POSITION

As Senior Account Manager for Southern Germany, you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the rental agencies and tourist destinations in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Austria that work with us.  

CHALLENGE

  • Support and develop strategic accounts in the vacation rental industry.
  • Advising existing customers on new solutions and products, as well as further optimizing the business relationship and improving performance.
  • Ensure the smooth display of vacation rentals in our distribution partner network with connected portals such as Booking.com, Hometogo, vrbo, Check24, airBnB and our own platforms HRS Holidays and Tiscover.
  • Using internal CRM and statistical tools to continuously analyze all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the conception of new product ideas and identify new opportunities for the company.
  • Together with the Sales Manager in your region, you will be our "ear to the market". In close cooperation, you will develop strategies to acquire new partners and optimize business relations.
  • Supported by our marketing team, you will strengthen our product portfolio's market positioning and awareness.
  • Participation in relevant trade shows, conferences and other events.

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • A successfully completed degree in economics or tourism or comparable training.
  • Several years (3+) experience in account management.
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with telephone, video telephony and on-site advisory meetings.
  • Quick comprehension, initiative and a high level of commitment and resilience.
  • Passion and good understanding for consulting, sales and people as well as for technical issues and the e-commerce business. 
  • Analytical, structured and entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on mentality
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Fluent German and good English skills.

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

The position can be performed 100% remotely (with main residence in the region) with a willingness to travel of up to 50%.

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
