POSITION
This role is responsible for leading office operations, workplace culture, engagement initiatives, and executive support across the Australian business (approximately 90 employees).
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Office & Culture Manager ensures smooth day-to-day operations, delivers high-impact cultural initiatives, and provides trusted executive assistance. This is a highly visible role that balances operational excellence with employee experience.
CHALLENGE
1. Office Operations & Facilities Management
- Manage office administration and daily operations for approximately 90 employees
- Oversee WHS/OH&S activities including:
- Fire Warden coordination
- First Aid compliance
- Workplace safety activities
- Liaise with building management and external vendors
- Address and resolve facility-related issues promptly
- Oversee office supplies, catering, stationery, and kitchen stock within budget
- Manage vendor relationships and invoice processing
- Act as the first point of contact for operational issues and troubleshoot quickly to maintain smooth office operations
- Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with WHS standards
2. Meetings, Events & Internal Communications
- Organise and coordinate:
- Monthly Townhalls
- Quarterly All Hands sessions
- Sales meetings and customer workshops
- Leadership meetings
- Management meetings
- Consolidate updates from department heads for presentation where required
- Plan and deliver company-wide events including:
- Cultural days
- Charity events
- Team offsites
- Christmas celebrations
- Award nights
3. Culture, Engagement & Recognition
- Act as Culture Coach (Australia), embedding Leadership Principles into daily practices
- Deliver onboarding programs and quarterly culture workshops
- Drive and manage the Supernova Recognition Program
- Chair Wellness, Charity, and Recognition initiatives
- Lead engagement campaigns including:
- Multicultural Day
- R U OK? Day
- White Ribbon initiatives
- Charity fundraisers
- Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture
- Follow up on ENPS survey completion and support engagement initiatives
4. HR & People Support
- Complete criminal/background checks for new hires
- Conduct annual background checks where required
- Provide administrative support for new joiners
- Coordinate onboarding logistics and induction sessions
- Maintain accurate people administration records
5. Executive Assistant Support (Managing Director)
- Provide EA support including:
- Diary management
- Meeting preparation and logistics
- Travel coordination
- Expense reconciliation
- Act as first point of contact for the Managing Director
- Manage confidential communications with discretion
- Support management-level initiatives and coordination across the business
